Concrete Slabs & Flooring Built to Carry Real Loads

Commercial slabs and flooring have a harder job than residential concrete, carrying forklift traffic, racking loads, and machinery on soil that shifts with freeze and thaw. An inadequate base or under-reinforced pour leads to cracking and settling. Cesars Concrete pours commercial slabs and finished floors across Northern Colorado and the Denver Metro Area, handling site evaluation through forming, reinforcement, placement, and finish. Each slab is specified for the load it will actually carry.

Our Commercial Concrete Slab & FLOORING Services

From interior warehouse floors to outdoor flatwork, we pour slabs sized and reinforced for the job they need to do. Here is what we handle for business owners, builders and property managers across Northern Colorado and the Denver Metro Area.

Interior slabs engineered for forklift traffic, racking systems and heavy equipment. We focus on flatness, proper joint layout and control joint spacing so the surface stays serviceable and does not crack under load.

Reinforced pads for HVAC units, generators, compressors, transformers and production equipment. Built to spec with the anchor placement and thickness your equipment requires.

High-strength slabs for loading areas, truck aprons and dock approaches where heavy vehicle traffic and turning loads would destroy standard flatwork.

Assessment and repair of failing slabs, including full tear-out, sub-base correction and replacement when the existing slab is past patching.

Thicker, reinforced pads designed for the point loads and repeated impact of front-load collection trucks. We size the pad to your enclosure footprint and truck approach so the concrete holds up to weekly pickups instead of cracking within a season.

Heavy-duty slabs for equipment storage yards, material laydown areas and outdoor staging space.

Foundation slabs for new commercial builds, additions and outbuildings, including vapor barrier installation, rebar or mesh reinforcement and proper curing.

Slabs for restaurant patios, courtyards, seating areas and walkway connections. If you want a finished look, we can pour these as decorative concrete instead of a standard broom finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about our commercial concrete slab process? We have you covered. Here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive. If you do not find the answer you are looking for, feel free to reach out to us.

It depends entirely on what the slab will carry. Light commercial flatwork often runs four inches, while warehouse floors, equipment pads and areas with truck traffic typically need six inches or more with heavier reinforcement. We evaluate the intended use and soil conditions before specifying thickness, so you are not paying for concrete you do not need or setting yourself up for cracking.

Most commercial slabs take three to five days of active work, depending on size and how much site preparation is required. Larger warehouse pours or projects needing significant excavation take longer. We give you a firm timeline with your estimate.

You can usually walk on a new slab within 24 to 48 hours. Light vehicle traffic generally needs about seven days, and full design strength takes around 28 days. For heavy equipment or forklift traffic, we will give you a specific timeline for your project.

All concrete develops some hairline cracking as it cures. The goal is controlling where it happens. Proper sub-base preparation, correct reinforcement and control joints cut on schedule keep cracking predictable and cosmetic rather than structural.

Yes. We handle demolition, haul-off, sub-base correction and replacement. In many cases the original failure traces back to the base rather than the concrete, so we address that before repouring rather than repeating the same problem.

Yes. Cold weather pours require additional planning, including mix adjustments, blankets and monitoring cure temperatures, but we pour year-round in Northern Colorado when conditions allow. We will tell you honestly if weather means waiting is the better call.
