Decorative Finishes Built for Commercial Traffic
Your entrance, courtyard, or patio is the first surface customers encounter. Decorative concrete delivers the appearance of stone, brick, or tile without the settling and maintenance issues that come with pavers. On a commercial property, traffic is the deciding factor, and a finish suited to a residential patio wears through quickly. Cesars Concrete has poured decorative work across Northern Colorado and the Denver Metro Area for more than two decades. We specify finishes and sealers for the traffic each surface will carry, and build the slab beneath to commercial standard.
OUR COMMERCIAL DECORATIVE CONCRETE SERVICES
From storefront entrances to courtyards and plazas, we offer decorative finishes built for commercial traffic and Colorado weather, serving business owners, builders, and property managers across Northern Colorado and the Denver Metro Area.
- Stamped Concrete for Commercial Properties
Patterns that replicate stone, brick, slate or wood plank across entrances, courtyards and outdoor dining areas. We use commercial-grade release agents and sealers so the pattern holds up to foot traffic and freeze thaw cycles rather than fading in a season.
- Exposed Aggregate
A durable, textured finish that reveals the stone in the mix, giving you natural variation and excellent slip resistance. It is one of the best-wearing decorative options available, which makes it a strong fit for walkways, entrances and high-traffic outdoor areas.
- Polished Concrete
Mechanically ground and polished interior floors for showrooms, retail spaces, lobbies and restaurants. Low maintenance, highly durable and available in a range of sheen levels from satin to high gloss.
- Stained and Colored Concrete
Integral color mixed through the concrete, or acid and water-based stains applied to the surface for depth and variation. Integral color holds up better long term on exterior commercial work because it goes all the way through rather than sitting on top.
- Storefront Entrances and Walkways
Decorative flatwork at building entrances, connecting walkways and sidewalk frontage. This is the surface customers judge your property by before they reach the door, and it needs to look intentional without becoming a slip hazard when wet.
- Courtyards, Plazas and Outdoor Dining
Larger decorative areas for restaurant patios, hotel courtyards, office plazas and mixed-use developments. We plan joint layout and drainage so the finished space works as well as it looks.
- Borders, Bands and Accent Work
Contrasting borders, sawcut patterns and scored designs that break up large expanses of flatwork and define circulation paths. A practical way to add visual interest without the cost of a fully decorative surface.
- Sealing, Resealing and Restoration
Sealer application and reapplication to protect decorative finishes, plus restoration of existing stamped and colored surfaces that have faded or worn. Regular resealing is what keeps commercial decorative work looking new.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about decorative concrete finishes and how they perform on a commercial property? Here are answers to the ones we hear most. If you do not find what you need, reach out.
Well, as long as the finish suits the traffic and the sealer is maintained. Exposed aggregate and polished concrete wear especially well in busy commercial settings. Stamped work holds up too, though it needs resealing on schedule to keep the color and texture from fading at the busiest points. We specify each finish based on what the space will actually see, not how it looks in a sample.
Most commercial surfaces need resealing every two to three years. High-traffic entrances and areas exposed to de-icing salt may need it more often, while covered or lightly used spaces can go longer. We will tell you what to expect for your specific surface and finish.
It does not have to be. Sealers can be mixed with a slip-resistant additive, and textured finishes like stamped and exposed aggregate provide grip on their own. For entrances, walkways, and anywhere water collects, we specify the finish and sealer with traction in mind from the start.
Decorative work generally runs higher than a plain broom finish, and the difference depends on the finish you choose. Integral color and a light texture add relatively little. Multi-color stamped work or polished interior floors cost more. It still comes in well below stone or pavers, and there is no ongoing joint maintenance or settling to deal with.
Often, yes. Faded color usually means the sealer has worn off and the surface is weathering. Cleaning, recoloring where needed, and resealing can bring most surfaces back. If the concrete itself is cracked or spalling, replacement may be the better investment. We will look at it and tell you which one you are dealing with.
