What Is Metallic Epoxy Floor Coating?
Metallic epoxy flooring, as some call it, is not the same as your traditional epoxy floor. It’s a low yellowing epoxy that includes a metallic pigment mixed in with the rest of the coating. Once these shimmering pigments are mixed in with the rest of the epoxy resin, we pour the mixture onto the floor. Once we move the pigments around with a paintbrush or roller, the pigments will gather, twist, and form seemingly random patterns to reflect light at distinctive angles.
Once the metallic epoxy floor hardens, the pigments will also set, leaving the owner of the Northern Colorado home or place in business with a dynamic look that can best be described as a three-dimensional swirl!
